An appropriate RO dechlorination chemical should therefore be selected and dosed according to actual feed-water conditions. Excessive or insufficient dosing can both create operational challenges, so monitoring residual chlorine or ORP can help verify treatment performance.
Besides chlorine removal, effective reverse osmosis membrane protection can help reduce oxidation-related membrane deterioration and maintain stable salt rejection and water production.
