Sand and gravel defoamers are usually compounded from components such as polyethers, esters, and inorganic substances. Its working principle is based on reducing the surface tension of the foam system. When the defoamer is added to the sand and gravel processing system containing foam, the defoamer molecules quickly spread on the surface of the foam, destroying the elasticity and stability of the foam liquid film. At the same time, certain components in the defoamer interact with the surface-active substances in the foam, further weakening the stability of the foam, causing the foam to quickly break and disappear, thus achieving efficient defoaming and long-lasting antifoaming.
The use of sand and gravel defoamers has significant advantages. It can quickly eliminate the foam generated during the sand and gravel processing, greatly improving the washing and production efficiency and ensuring the quality of sand and gravel and related products. The operation is simple. Only the addition amount of the defoamer needs to be adjusted reasonably according to the amount of foam generated and the characteristics of the system.
