Many industrial wastewater treatment enterprises are troubled by sludge issues. Biochemical sludge appears turbid and loose, with unclear supernatant after sedimentation. Filter-pressed sludge cakes are damp and soft with persistently high sludge moisture content.
This leads to large sludge output, frequent outward transportation, and rising solid waste disposal expenses. Poor industrial sludge dewatering performance may even disrupt the stable operation of the whole wastewater station. Many factories try adding lime, conventional PAC and PAM, yet the treatment effect is unstable. These remedies only offer temporary relief rather than a fundamental solution.
The root cause lies in massive ultrafine colloidal particles and extracellular organic matter in industrial sludge. Negatively-charged particles repel one another and trap large amounts of bound water, which cannot be broken down by ordinary chemicals. Without professional conditioning, sludge moisture content is generally above 85%, bringing heavy pressure to subsequent disposal.
Sludge Conditioner is developed for such working conditions. Different from common flocculants, it rapidly neutralizes colloidal charges, aggregates fine suspended particles into dense, shear-resistant flocs, and releases bound water trapped inside sludge to greatly improve dewatering performance.
