Recently, we were commissioned by a Guangdong coking plant to treat the coking wastewater. The customer requires the treated water to be clear and transparent and meet the biochemical requirements. For this kind of high-chroma wastewater, our company provides the following solutions.
The customer measured 100ML of sewage mailed to our company. After receiving the sewage sample, our company first measured the PH value of 6.2, then added two-thousandths of Bejing coking wastewater decolorizing agent, stirred evenly, and then added two-thousandths of 25% liquid alkali, stirred evenly until flocculation appeared, and then added one-hundredth of PAM anion (1‰ of aqueous solution) stirred until precipitation. The PH of the treated sewage is 7.8, the color is successfully removed, and the water sample is clear and transparent, meeting customer requirements.

The COD, ss and ammonia nitrogen of the treated water samples were 1200mg/L, 60mg/L and 220mg/L respectively. Through experiments and renderings, it can be seen that the removal rate of water sample chroma after treatment is more than 99%, the sludge amount is less, and the operation is simple and convenient.
Coking wastewater is a typical toxic and difficult to degrade organic wastewater. There is no problem for it to enter the biochemical system after using our company's decolorizing agent for coking wastewater. However, since coking wastewater generally contains high ammonia nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen cannot reach the standard after biochemical treatment, it is suggested that customers can use ammonia nitrogen removal agent at the biochemical back-end, which can not only effectively reduce the concentration of ammonia nitrogen, but also reduce the concentration of ammonia nitrogen. The removal of COD can also play a certain role.
