How to Treat Oily Wastewater with Low Cost & High Efficiency?
1. It is more efficient to sort the oily wastewater and treat
Floating oil with particle size>150μm: floating on the water surface, easy to separate.
Dispersed oil with particle size 20~150μm: suspension state, requiring physical or chemical assisted separation.
Emulsion oil with particle size<20μm): surfactant exists stable and needs emulsion breaking treatment
Dissolved oil: Molecular grade dissolution, requiring advanced oxidation or biodegradation.
2. Low-cost and high efficient treatment process flow
2.1. Pretreatment stage (reduce the subsequent load)
Oil-separating tank / gravity separation is applicable: remove floating oil and partially dispersed oil.
Crude filtration is applicable: to intercept large particle impurities (such as metal debris, suspended matter).
2.2. Core treatment stage (quality treatment)
Air flotation method (DAF / CAF) is applicable: dispersed oil, emulsified oil.
Defence break + coagulation precipitation is suitable for: high concentration of emulsified oil.
Selection of demulsifier effect:
Cleanmaster Demulsifier: it can aggregate the particle size of emulsified oil from <20μm to 50~100μm, and improve the oil-water separation efficiency by more than 80%.
Adapt to the complex water quality, it can treat the wastewater containing a variety of surfactants (such as petroleum sulfonate, detergent), replace the traditional aluminum salt, and reduce the amount of sludge by 20%~30%.
