Nickel-containing Wastewater Heavy Metal Removal Agent is Suitable for What Type Wastewater?
Nickel wastewater mainly produced in electroplating industry, mainly electroplating nickel wastewater, chemical nickel plating wastewater and zinc nickel alloy wastewater. At present many electroplating enterprises cannot treat wastewater nickel effectively, for the nickel cannot meet standard, can use nickel wastewater recapture agent treatment, through chelation, nickel ion reaction with waste water, generate water insoluble metal chelating salt precipitation, into sludge, to remove nickel ions in the wastewater.
Nickel-containing wastewater retrap is a harmless and non-toxic heavy metal trap, which can effectively form stable compounds with most heavy metal ions in wastewater, so as to achieve the purpose of removing heavy metal ions. Chemical nickel plating wastewater contains citric acid, tartaric acid, malic acid, lactic acid, complexing agent combined with nickel ions form small molecules, complexing agent in wastewater stability, using sodium hydroxide, lime, sodium sulfide, ordinary liquid recapture agent or solid reapping agent cannot destroy the complexing agent and nickel ion bonding, nickel ions is difficult to remove. Can be reacted by adding nickel wastewater recapture agent, using recapture agent with nickel wastewater is a systematic process, it depends on the strong chelation ability of recatcher and adaptability to the change of pH, make most of the waste liquid nickel ions and heavy metal capture agent chelation reaction, and add a moderate amount of polymer flocculant, accelerate the insoluble precipitation, remove nickel ions.
The use of a nickel-containing wastewater retrap agent is as follows:
1, neutral wastewater pH neutral, this step is crucial for the subsequent chelation reaction, because it affects the presence of nickel ions and the activity of recaptrap.
2. Add the nickel-containing wastewater recapture agent according to a certain proportion, and let it fully react with the wastewater for 30 minutes.
3. After the reaction, PAC was added for coagulation reaction, and then PAM was added for flocculation reaction to prompting the formed precipitate to condense and settle.
4. Finally, the content of nickel ions in the treated wastewater is determined by testing means to ensure that it is lower than the discharge standard.
