The Baqiao District Landfill in Xi'an covers an area of over 1,000 acres and processes up to 10,000 tons of waste daily, making it the largest landfill in China in terms of daily processing capacity. The primary odors are generated from the decomposition of organic components in the waste by bacteria. Approximately 75-80% of household waste is organic matter, including fruit peels, vegetable leaves and stems, leftover food, poultry, animal and fish skins, fur, entrails, fat, feces, offal/blood, leaves, waste paper, flowers, plants, and animal bodies, along with some moisture. During the natural decomposition process, through aerobic and anaerobic fermentation, foul odors are produced, especially in hot weather when the fermentation process accelerates, making the odors more severe.

The project requires a thorough and effective reduction of odor concentrations, with the deodorizer being non-harmful to humans. After on-site investigation and analysis by our technical team, the main odors were identified as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, organic amines, organic sulfur compounds, and volatile fatty acids. The CleanMaster Garbage Deodorizer was tested on-site using an atomization spray device to fully atomize the plant extract. The droplets, with a radius of 50-150 microns, effectively adsorb the odor molecules in the air. After on-site testing, the results were very satisfactory, and a yearly supply contract for the plant-based deodorizer was signed with the project. This effectively solved the garbage odor problem and improved the surrounding environment.
